Quick start guide - Android
Once you've purchased your e-SIM, you will receive an email within approximately 10 minutes with setup instructions for both iPhone and Android.
Step 1: Is Your Phone Compatible?
Most new Android phones support eSIM, like Samsung Galaxy S20+ and Google Pixel 3+.
Open Settings.
Go to Connections or Network & Internet.
Look for SIM card manager or SIMs.
See an option to Add eSIM or Add Mobile Plan? You're good to go!
Step 2: Buy Your eSIM
Pick your data plan.
Check your email for a QR code and activation details right after purchase.
Look for SIM card manager or SIMs.
You can also find the install instructions at https://destinationsim.com/manage-esims. Locate your eSIM and select Install eSIM, then select the Android instructions.
Step 3: Install Your eSIM

Open the Camera on your phone.
Scan the QR code from your email.
Tap the pop-up and follow the instructions.
Turn Data Roaming ON in Settings.
Option B: Enter Details Manually
If you can't scan the QR code, manually enter the activation details from your email.

Step 4: Enable Data Roaming & Adjust Data Saver
Data Roaming: Turn ON to allow your phone to access mobile data when traveling internationally.
Data Saver Mode: Turn OFF to ensure reliable connectivity. (Turning this setting on reduces background data use, which may limit your eSIM's performance. Meaning you save on data usage)
Step 5: Connect!
Your phone should auto-connect (look for 4G/5G).
If not, wait 15 minutes or check the troubleshooting tips.
